Restaurants like the well-known Marks and Spencer and the new well-reviewed and acclaimed West Coast restaurant Lakeside are opening in Vancouver this week.
The two restaurants will be open on the West Coast this week as well, with Markley opening to the public Friday.
The new West Coast restaurants are Markley’s third and last restaurants, after its previous location at the Mount Pleasant Hotel in Burnaby, and Marks and Spencers first location in Vancouver.
Markley will serve lunch on Friday, followed by dinner on Saturday, the company said in a statement.
Markley’s location in Mount Pleasant is at the corner of Hastings and Hastings.
On Monday, Markley opened a new location at 888 Hastings St., a new building that has been constructed and will be available for use as a food court.
Markies food court at Hastings St. has been open since September 2017, when the hotel was converted into a dining and retail space.
In 2016, Markleys food court opened at 891 Hastings St, at which time it became the first Markley restaurant to open in the downtown Vancouver area.
At its current location at Hastings, Markings food court will remain open until March 20, 2019, at the earliest, the restaurant said.
