When I first started to work in food service, I knew there was no way I could be the first person to take a group of servers out for a dinner party, but after reading the following article by my fellow restaurant manager, I found myself intrigued.
I needed a recipe to share with my colleagues and I knew a good one would be easy to make and the results would be awesome!
I knew there had to be a chicken wings recipe out there, and so I made one.
I used to make chicken wings in the old days when I worked at a big restaurant, and it was still a fun and healthy way to eat a meal.
But today, most of my friends don’t have the desire to eat wings, and I had to figure out how to make them.
The following is a recipe I found online, and was inspired by the Chicken Wings of India and the American Chicken Wings (or the Wings of America).
Chicken Wings Ingredients 2 cups shredded chicken wings (about 2 lbs.)
1 tsp.
salt 1 tsp (2.5 ml) butter (cut into small cubes) 1 tsp garlic powder 2 cups (1.5 cups) water 1/2 cup (2 cups) cornmeal 2 cups frozen peas 1/4 cup (1/4 oz) white wine 1 cup (4 oz.) cream (recipe below) 1.5 tbsp.
(4 grams) ground cumin 2 tbsp.
ground coriander 1 tsp paprika (optional) 2 tbsp chopped fresh thyme 1/3 cup (3.5 oz.) grated parmesan cheese 1 tbsp.
cayenne pepper Salt and pepper to taste 1.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter and salt to a large bowl.
Add the garlic powder, water, cornmeal, and corn and mix until the ingredients are well combined.
Add chicken wings, salt and pepper, and stir to coat.
Cook for 5 minutes or until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
Serve immediately with a salad and garnish with parsley, mint leaves, and cilantro.
