You have a meal reservation?
A reservation made online?
No problem!
If you have already checked-in to a Rutgers dining hall before visiting, you don’t need to make an additional trip to check-in.
You can just pick your destination and start enjoying your meal from there.
You won’t need a separate reservation to enter the dining halls, and there are no separate lines to walk through to check in.
You also won’t have to deal with any long lines to check into the dining facilities.
If you’ve always wanted to make your dining choice online, Rutgers has you covered.
You’ll have the option to choose from several different options from restaurants around the world, including local favorites like El Bulli and Panera Bread, and international favorites like Bistro Marzulli.
You don’t have a full dining experience at Rutgers dining halls.
If a dining hall is not offering any of the options you have chosen, you’ll be able to choose between other options, such as select beer or wine, but you won’t get the full meal experience.
You will be able enter the hall at the designated time and the reservation will be honored.
Rutgers will give you a printed receipt and/or a gift card to the restaurant to pay for your meal, if you’re choosing to eat at the restaurant.
For additional convenience, Rutgers also offers a $25 voucher for you to use to get a complimentary dinner reservation at any dining hall you choose to visit.
When you check-out from your meal at Rutgers, you will receive a check from Rutgers.
You have to wait at least 20 minutes to be seated and you will not receive a refund for your reservation if you leave the dining facility before your meal is seated.
Rutgers also has a food-related fee for guests who are over the age of 21, or who have been charged more than $100 for food service or any other charge related to their visit.
You may be able receive a partial refund for this fee, but this will only be a partial fee and not the full amount you’ll owe.
