New Orleans, LA—It’s been a long time since we’ve seen a restaurant named after the city’s most famous culinary icon.
That’s what happens when you build a place called Saragar Dining Hall.
The New Orleans restaurant, opened by chef and founder Robert Saragar in 2018, is the brainchild of longtime New Orleans food lover Joe and Michelle Saragar, who bought the restaurant in 2017 and turned it into an outpost for their family’s family of Italian restaurants.
Now, the restaurant is being hailed as a destination for foodies, chefs, and locals alike.
The menu features fresh, local, and seasonal dishes from across the region, and they’re offering a variety of dishes from their own kitchen to those found at the New Orleans restaurants of New York City, San Francisco, and Chicago.
The restaurant also features some of New Orleans best wines and cocktails, and has a beer garden full of local beers on tap.
