As part of the investigation into the Clark, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released its first official autopsy report.
The report released Thursday reveals that one of the victims, an 11-year-old boy, died of multiple organ failure and was pronounced dead.
The CDC did not release the cause of death.
The cause of the death will be formally announced on Friday.
A CDC spokesperson told Recode that the agency is “reviewing” the report.
In a statement released to Recode, Clark’s attorney said the report’s findings are troubling and we will take it seriously.
Clark was found unconscious and unconscious in the hallway of his Clark dining-hall on March 9.
He was taken to the hospital, where he died the following day.
The Centers for Diseases Control and HIV/AIDS did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
