The city’s culinary scene was in full swing and we were delighted to see how the dining scene in town has matured over the years.
As always, there was a mix of international cuisine and local food to choose from, but the highlight of the event was undoubtedly Albert’s new Bar Maitreya.
This new bar and restaurant has been named the most exciting restaurant in London, and was set up with a strong focus on creating an authentic London experience.
This bar is a new and exciting addition to Albert.
The menu is incredibly rich and the drinks are delicious, which is what you expect from Albert in London.
We went in on the Monday night and were served a delicious meal, with the service being phenomenal, but even more so when we started talking about the night’s drinks.
Our bartender suggested we try a vodka infused martini with an apple, pineapple and raspberry sauce, a dark rum cocktail with a lemon wedge and a cherry, and a gin and tonic.
All of these were superb and our taste buds instantly felt the difference.
The night’s menu included a selection of drinks from the city’s local favourite, The Tiki Room, which has an amazing cocktail list, and it’s also a great way to explore the different styles of cocktails.
On our last night in London we had a delicious dinner with a very traditional American dinner, which was a good start to a night in the city.
The staff at the restaurant are really lovely and very helpful.
There is a really great atmosphere at Albert and it can be very busy in the evenings.
It’s great to see a new restaurant opening and it makes it a great night to visit London, as you can sample a range of amazing dishes from a variety of restaurants, from the very best restaurants in London to the more casual and relaxed venues.
